Ippei-an is a Japanese restaurant specializing in ramen and other comfort foods. Founded in 1984, it was the first restaurant in Hong Kong to serve ramen as its primary dish. With a strong emphasis on providing a welcoming and relaxing environment to eat, Ippei-an has steadily built its reputation as one of the best ramen restaurants in Hong Kong. Dishes such as the famous Nagasaki Ramen have continued to attract new customers, as well as ensuring return customers.
The grand opening of Ippe-an's second restaurant at Knutsford Steps delivers the famous ramen taste to the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. This second restaurant also sees the introduction of a new and unique ramen previously available only in Japan. Ippei-an has teamed up with Higomons to introduce Hong Kong to the rich taste of southern Kyushu ramen. This restaurant also features a large selection of new and previously unavailable sake (imported directly from Niigata), as well as the more traditional shochu and beers.
